What is the DSWD Educational Assistance?

DSWD educational assistance helps students with education expenses. Students who need benefits must be classified as “in crisis” to get the financial aid. Students who are working, Family breadwinners, Single parents who have children, and unemployed parents are all eligible.

Benefits of DSWD Cash Assistance?

DSWD Cash Assistance provides students with financial assistance from PHP 1000 to PHP 4,000 depending on the level of their education. Below is a cash assistance that students may receive.

  • PHP – 1,000 for Elementary Students
  • PHP – 2,000 for High School Students
  • PHP – 3,000 for Senior High School
  • PHP – 4,000 for Vocational / College Students

What are the Qualifications?

A statement from DSWD Sec. Erwin Tulfo said that individuals are eligible for dswd cash assistance. Below is the qualification list.

  • Breadwinner
  • Working student
  • Has no Family / Living with relative
  • Child of a solo parent
  • others with unique circumstances
  • Has parents with no source of living
  • Children of HIV victims
  • Child of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs)
  • Child of Persons with Disability (PWDs)
  • Victims of Domestic Abuse
  • Victims of natural disasters

What documents are required?

To apply for the DSWD program, below is a list of documents:

  • Student School ID
  • Valid of the Parent/Guardian
  • Enrollment Certificate / Registration Document
  • Statement of the Account indicating the name of the school and the student’s miscellaneous fees.

NOTE: Any educational assistance will be provided to the student’s parent or guardian.
